Process to get admission in medical colleges of India

NEET is an entrance exam, governing by National Testing Agency (NTA) in which students appear, if he/she dreamt to be a Doctor. This exam has multiple choice questions with carrying 4 marks for each right answer and one-fourth mark is however deducted for every wrong answer. Every section carries the weightage of 45 marks each for Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology section. Students need to secure the minimum percentile, if they wish to get MBBS admission in top notch colleges of India.

After qualifying NEET entrance exam, students need to fill the counseling form for the confirmation of MBBS seats in medical colleges. Students may apply online for both Central Counseling and State Counseling. The counseling procedure consists of many rounds. So, be sure to be registered in counseling procedure, there may have the possibilities to get MBBS seats according to one’s preference in another round. After confirmation of seat, the student will get the invitation letter from the college. Once the documentation criteria are verified and the Tuition fee is submitted, student can depart from home to pursue his/her MBBS course.
