A Glance at New Vision University
The New vision
university campus is situated in the heart of Georgia, Tbilisi, which is a
beautiful city with ultimate scenic beauty. The climate around the campus is of
the humid subtropical type that is summers are warm and winters are mild to
moderately cold.
The NVU was
established as a Non-entrepreneurial legal entity in 2013. NVU is famous around
the globe for its quality education and expert faculties. It is home to more
than 1000 students from around the globe and more than 400 highly qualified and
expert faculties. NVU is the first university in Georgia to offer a complete
medical curriculum in stereoscopic 3D view and virtual reality. The students of
NVU enjoys not only word-class technology but also a high standard of
facilities offered in laboratory, library, and hostels. The university is
famous for its excellence in medical education and clinical research. It has
been contributed to no. of national and international research projects.
The university
follows international standards of medical education and it ensures to provide
in-hand clinical experience to its students. It is the only medical university
in the region that has a university hospital that not only serves society but
also helps the medical students to get trained in clinical practice. It also
offers a clinical exchange program with an Indian hospital.
NVU envisioned the
overall personality development of its students thus it promotes debates,
entrepreneurial ideas, creative work, and other recreational activities. The
university has a dedicated clubhouse for students for recreational activities.
It also gives
priority to the mental health of students, there is a separate dedicated
psychological counseling center for students that address student’s every
problem which might hamper their academic performances.
NVU is not only an
academic institution, but it is also a journey towards overall excellence and
the experience of a lifetime.

ECFMG (Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates)-
It is a certification to
assess the eligibility of International medical graduates to enroll in
residency or fellowship programs in the United States that are accredited by
the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
For international medical
graduates, ECFMG acts as a registration and score reporting agency for USMLE.
Foreign medical students must have an ECFMG certificate to take admission into
Residency or fellowship programs in the United States.
It consists of three-step
examination: Step1, Step2CK, Step2CS
The ECFMG certificate is issued to a
physician if he or she passes the three exams within a time period of seven
years.
Due to its remarkable achievements in medical education and
almost globally recognized medical degree, NVU is a hub for medical education.
